Final Results 
(Colorado Springs, CO) - The 21st-ranked USD golf team finished in second place (18 teams) at the 2010 Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational being played at the Eisenhower Golf Course with a three-round total of 869 (5-over par). They finished runner-up to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs who won the team title with a 3-under-par team score of 861. USD junior Gunner Wiebe (Denver, CO) tied for 3rd overall (104 golfers) with a 3-under par total of 213 (72-69-72) on the Blue Course (7,363 yards). Colorado State's Ryan Peterson won medalist honors with a brilliant 9-under par total of 207 (69-68-70).
Rounding out USD scoring was junior Alex Ching (t-10th at 216; 73-70-73), senior Scott Brace (t-21st at 220; 73-75-72), senior Jason Shano (t-39th at 224; 73-73-78), and senior Kenneth McCready (t-71st at 230; 81-73-76). Torero freshman Manav Shah (Bakersfield, CA) played as an individual and finished tied for 61st overall at 227 (77-77-73).
The Toreros will next compete in the University of Nevada Wolfpack Invitational on October 4-5 (Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course).
