Toreros competing at USC Invitational

The second round in today's USC Collegiate Invitational was suspended due to darkness after today's start of play was delayed due to a frost delay. After first round play the Toreros found themselves in 13th play (15 teams) with a team score of 306. Scores are as up-to-date as possible on golfstat.com, though second-round scores will not be official until scorecards are turned in on Tuesday. Tournament officials are hoping to get in all 54 holes, though the start will be similarly delayed Tuesday.

Ben Murray shot USD's best round this morning with a 73 at North Ranch Country Club (par 71; 6,869 yards)in Westlake Village, California. In the midst of round two he was tied for 16th overall at 1-over par through 12 holes. Other first round Torero scores were turned in by Gunner Wiebe (77; currently +7 thru 11 holes), Scott Brace (78; currently +7 thru 11 holes), Alex Ching (78; +10 thru 12 holes) and Kenneth McCready (79; +13 thru 10 holes). San Diego State and UCLA are currently tied for 1st with 6-under team scores.
