USD Men's Golf tied for 5th at Wyoming Cowboy Classic

Scottsdale, AZ - After two rounds of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic being played at Talking Stick GC in Scottsdale, Arizona, the 20th-ranked USD Toreros find themselves tied for 5th with Colorado at 568. USD shot team scores of 285-283. Baylor leads the event at 555 and is followed by Colorado State (561), Arizona (563) and Nevada (565).

Colorado State's Zahkai Brown is the individual leader at 133 (70-63). USD's top golfer is senior Gunner Wiebe who is tied for third overall at 137 (68-69). Junior Alex Ching is tied for 6th at 138 (69-69). Rounding out USD scoring is Manav Shah (T54 at 147; 75-72), Scott Brace (T60 at 148; 75-73) and Ben Murray (T90 at 154; 73-81). USD senior Jason Shano, playing in his hometown and as an individual, is tied for 71st at 150 (73-77).

Final round play begins at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.
