Final Results 
(Scottsdale, AZ) - The 20th-ranked USD golf team tied for 7th at the Ninth Annual University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic with a three-round team score of 855 (285-283-287). Baylor (836) held on for the team title while Arizona's Tarquin Macmanus took home medalist honors with his 8-under par 202 (66-70-66) as he edged out two players by one stroke. USD junior Alex Ching fired a final round 70 on Talking Stick's North Course (par 70, 7133 yardage) and finished in a tie for 5th at 2-under par 208 (69-69-70).
Rounding out USD scoring was senior Gunner Wiebe (T12th at 210; 68-69-73), senior Scott Brace (T45 at 218; 75-73-70), freshman Manav Shah (T65 at 221; 75-72-74) and senior Ben Murray (T98 at 230; 73-81-76). Senior Jason Shano, playing as an individual, shot a final round 73 and tied for 75th at 223.
Up next for the Toreros is the West Coast Conference Championships April 18-19 in Hollister, California at San Juan Oaks Golf Club.
