Final Results 
(Rancho Santa Fe, CA) - All five of the top seeds from the San Diego Regional have earned a trip to Nationals which will take place in Stillwater, Oklahoma, May 31 thru June 5th at the Karsten Creek Golf Club. Top-seeded and 2nd ranked UCLA finished on top with their 10-under par 854 total as they bested runner-up USC, the third seeded team, by three strokes (857; -7). Tournament host and 4th-seeded San Diego shot the day's best team score (280; -8) and finished in third alone with an even-par 864 total. Rounding out the top five was No. 5 seed Ohio State (865; +1) and No. 2 seed Texas (873; +9). Earning the lone individual bid to Nationals is senior Jason Millard of Middle Tennessee State who totaled a 5-under par total of 211 (72-69-70).
UCLA's Patrick Cantlay won medalist honors for the regional as he finished at 13-under par 203 (69-67-67). USD freshman Manav Shah fired a final round 67 to finish tied for second at 209 (70-72-67). He was matched my Steve Lim of USC (68-71-70). The top-five list of individuals was rounded out by two performers that tied for 4th overall - Michael Cress of Ohio State (211; 75-68-68) and Jason Millard of Middle Tennessee State (211; 72-69-70).
The host USD Toreros, ranked 23rd in the nation, will be making their third straight trip to Nationals. Following Shah today, senior Gunner Wiebe fired a 2-under par 70; senior Ben Murray shot a 1-under par 71; senior Kenneth McCready tallied his third straight 72; and junior Alex Ching posted a 76. Following Shah's tie for second, McCready tied for 11th (216; 72-72-72), Murray tied for 28th (220; 76-73-71); Wiebe tied for 42nd (223; 80-73-70) and Ching tied for 54th (228; 76-76-76).
"For the guys to do what they did today, under pressure and under the gun, was very special," said USD Torero head coach Tim Mickelson. "Manav Shah's 67, from a freshman under these circumstances, is an unbelievable accomplishment. But everyone had to come together and it was definitely a total team effort."
