Bill Cullum 2014 1st Round

(Simi Valley, Calif.) - The USD men's golf team was in 8th place after round one of the Bill Cullum Invitational being played at Wood Ranch Golf Club. USD fired a first round team score of 284 (-4), and had moved up to 5th place when play was suspended due to darkness. The second round will be finished in the morning before the third and final round of play.

Grant Forrest fired a first round 69 (-3) and was followed by Will Twitty (71, -1), Daniel Lopez (71, -1), Mathias Dahl (73, +1) and Alex Chiarella (74, +2). Colin Pearson, playing as an individual, matched Chiarella with a 74.

USC, behind Rico Hoey's opening round 65 (-7), was in first place at 275 (-13).
