Toreros Earn NFCA All-Academic Award

NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) honored the USD softball program for having one of the top team GPA's in the country in 2014. Last season the Toreros averaged a 3.185 GPA and had seven players named NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes.

Danielle Mavridis, Kylie Ordos, Noelle Devlin, Olivia Sandusky, Dana Prelsnik, and Kylie Crawford all were recognized by the NFCA for their outstanding achievements in the classroom during the 2014 season. Mavridis, Prelsnik, and Ordos were also named to the WCC All-Academic team in the spring.

The Toreros, who finished second in the WCC last season, begin their fall season on October 11 when they host Palomar College at 11:00 a.m.
