SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's rowing team is receiving votes in the latest NCAA Top 20 Poll. The Toreros' 33 points give them the most of any school outside the top 20; No. 20 Oregon State has 41 points.

The Toreros are coming off strong showings the past two weekends at the Longhorn Invitational and Pac-12 Challenge and will have another chance to impress Saturday and Sunday at the Crew Classic on the waters of Mission Bay.

USD, who has won three of the last four WCC championships, was recently picked to finish second in the preseason WCC Coaches Poll. Gonzaga, who is also receiving votes in the latest NCAA poll, was tabbed as the preseason favorite.
