SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of San Diego women’s rowing team will wrap up their regular season Saturday morning when they take on cross town rival San Diego State on Mission Bay. The race will utilize a 2 x 1500-meter race format for the participating boats.
The race was originally scheduled for Friday, but was moved to Saturday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. The Toreros competed against San Diego State, along with UCSD and OCC, back in February in a scrimmage and had all of their varsity boats come in first.
The Toreros were just outside the most recent NCAA rankings, coming in at No. 22. This will be USD’s final race before the WCC Championships on May 17.
