MERCER LAKE, N.J. - The San Diego men's rowing team competed in preliminary races on Friday morning at the IRA National Championship. This is the second time in program history that the Toreros have advanced to the IRA Nationals. Competing in two events, both boats advanced to the C/D Semifinals for Saturday. The Varsity 8 posted its fastest time of the season, 7 seconds in front of Dartmouth and just .08 seconds behind Gonzaga.
