March 2, 2015 Final NIT Results 2015 
(Tucson, Arizona) - The USD golf team shot a final round team score of 299 to finish at 881 overall (+17), good for eighth place at the 2015 National Invitational Tournament that was contested at Tucson National Golf Club (par 72, yardage 7,200). Senior Grant Forrest fired a final round 72 to finish in a tie for 12th at 217 (72-73-72). The Cal Bears won the team title (856, -8) while Scott Fernandez of Iowa State took home medalist honors with his 11-under par 205 (70-66-69).
Forrest was followed by Mathias Dahl (T30 at 221, 73-74-74), Will Twitty (T30 at 221, 75-71-75), Colin Pearson (T48 at 226, 77-70-79) and Alex Chiarella (T59 at 229, 74-77-78). USD's Regan Kilpatrick, playing as an individual, matched Chiarella in 59th place at 229 (75-75-79).
The Toreros will be back in action next Monday and Tuesday (March 9-10) when they co-host the Lamkin San Diego Classic with San Diego State at San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista, California.
