Box Score

SAN DIEGO, Calif. â€" Three first half goals proved to be too much for CSUN to overcome, as the University of San Diego women's soccer team cruised its way to a 4-1 win over the Matadors Friday evening in a non-conference match at Torero Stadium.

The Toreros (2-6-2) wasted no time in scoring, as in the eighth minute of action, Jacqueline Altschuld took control of the ball at the top right of the goal box, and she sent a cross over to the head of Rachel Conners, who redirected the ball into the back of the goal to give USD the 1-0 lead.

San Diego then doubled its lead in the 23rd minute of play. The CSUN defense committed a foul near the 30 yard line on USD's Altschuld.
