SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego Women's Tennis team (2-0) picked up their second win in two days on Sunday after defeating the Cal State Fullerton Titans (1-1) 4-3 at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.

The Toreros earned their first point after Shani Blecher and Marta Stojanovic clinched the doubles competition with a 6-3 defeat of Masako Makiba and Karla Portalatin. Colomba DiFilippo and Maria-Paula Torres won the first match by the same 6-3 score over Sarah Nuno and Danielle Pham. Drew Spinosa and Dana Oppinger did not complete their match against Alexis Valenzuela and Camille De Leon.

In singles DiFilippo topped Pham 6-2, 6-2 to earn USD's second point and give them a 2-0 advantage. Spinosa put up a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Nuno to move the Toreros a point away from securing a sweep when the Titans started to come back.

Portalatin beat Torres 6-2, 6-3 before Valenzuela topped Stojanovic 6-3, 6-4 to move the match to 3-2. Chow secured the win for the Toreros in three sets over De Leon 6-0, 3-6, 6-3.

The Toreros will face No. 23 Kentucky Saturday at home.
