SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Senior midfielder Julia Sherwood's third goal of the season lifted the University of San Diego women's soccer team to a thrilling 1-0 West Coast Conference win over Gonzaga University Saturday evening at Torero Stadium.

With the win, the Toreros improve to 8-6-1 overall, and move to 3-2-0 in the WCC. With the loss, the Zags fall to 4-7-2 overall, and 0-4-0 in the WCC.
