SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The No. 69 Toreros women's tennis team (6-5, 3-1 WCC) dropped a 5-1 decision to the Brigham Young University Cougars (4-9, 2-1 WCC) on Saturday in Provo, Utah.
Colomba DiFilippo extended her dual match win streak to four with her team-leading eighth point of the season. In the No. 6 spot the Torero junior dropped BYU's Taylah Beckman 6-1, 7-5. Unfortunately the Cougars managed to clinch the match with their next point.

The Toreros will travel to Spokane, Wash. next Friday to face conference rival Gonzaga (10-1, 0-0 WCC) at 1 p.m. USD is 7-1 all-time against the Bulldogs including a 4-3 victory last year.
