Allen Luhrs picked a good time to score his first goal of the year, netting the game-winner less than 10 minutes later. Jimmy Ryan sent a cross into the box taht Lurhs stepped to near the penalty spot and hit a blistering shot to the roof of the net to give USD a 2-1 lead.

Olsen's biggest stop in the 84th minute when UC Davis sent in a corner kick from the right side of the field to the back post. The ball bounced around the box a bit before an Aggies striker got a shot away from eight yards out. Olsen stuck out his foot and cleared the shot away from goal to preserve the 2-1 advantage.
