SAN DIEGO – San Diego will host crosstown rival San Diego State, on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in the Jenny Craig Pavilion. 
 
After going 1-1 in their USD Thanksgiving Tournament over the holiday weekend, the Toreros (2-3) will take on the Aztecs (4-2) as part of their tough nonconference schedule.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Toreros went 1-1 in the USD Thanksgiving Tournament, beating Cleveland State 83-82 before falling to No. 18 Cal 70-53. 
 
• Patricia Brossmann was one point shy of her career-high to pace San Diego to an 83-82 victory over Cleveland State on Friday afternoon.

• Five Toreros put up double-digits led by Brossman with 20 points, who also tied for second on the team in rebounds with 8. Myah Pace (16), Sydney Shepard (14), Madison Pollock (13) and Leticia Soares (11) all contributed to USD's highest scoring game of the season.
 
• Madison Pollock scored a career-high 19 points, but San Diego fell short to No. 18 California 70-53 on Saturday afternoon in the JCP. It was USD's second top-25 matchup in a week.
 
• The Toreros and the Bears were knotted at halftime 29-29, but a surge by Cal in the second half pushed the Bears over the top in the final game of the Thanksgiving Tournament.
 
• Two Toreros put up double-digits, led by Pollock with 19 points. Sydney Hunter scored 13 points and led the team with eight rebounds. Myah Pace also chipped in with eight assists.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SAN DIEGO STATE 
• The Aztecs lead the all-time series, 13-23. Last season, the Toreros lost a nail-biter to SDSU, 77-76, in a game that saw 13 ties and 24 lead changes. After USD took a one-point lead, the Aztecs scored a driving lay-up with eight seconds remaining to secure the win.
 
• Myah Pace was one of four Toreros to score double digits, finishing the night with 10 points and a then career-high seven rebounds.

LEADING THE WAY
• Patricia Brossmann has established herself as a top performer for the Toreros this season. She leads the team in points (68), rebounds (32) and is tied for first in steals (8). Brossmann is currently averaging 13.6 points per game.
 
• Myah Pace leads the team in assists (23) and is tied for first in steals (8). She's also second on the team with 28 rebounds.
