SAN DIEGO— San Diego will head on the road to face Long Beach State on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in Long Beach, Calif. 
 
The Toreros (4-3) are coming off two thrilling wins over city-rival SDSU and Dartmouth and looking to build on their momentum when they face the 49ers (1-7).
 
The game will be streamed via BigWest.tv and live statistics will be available on USDToreros.com.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• Leticia Soares and Sydney Hunter set season-highs to help the Toreros overcome an 11-point deficit and secure a 78-76 win against Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
 
• The Toreros were tied at 76 points with 30 seconds remaining. Myah Pace drew out the clock and sank a two-pointer off the glass to put the Toreros on top with 1.6 seconds left in the game. The Big Green turned over the ball at the buzzer for USD to win in a thrilling fashion.
 
• Soares led the team with 22 points and Hunter was close behind with 19. 13 of Hunter's points came in the second half. Hunter also recorded a team-high eight rebounds in a game that saw 11 ties and seven lead changes.
 
• Kiera Oakry led the team on defense recording a game-high three blocks and team-high three steals.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST LBSU
• San Diego is 8-7 in the all-time series against Long Beach State. Last season the Toreros dominated the 49ers, 74-40, forcing 25 turnovers and outrebounding the 49ers, 54-32. USD held LBSU to just 27 percent shooting (17-for-64).
 
LEADING THE WAY
• Patricia Brossmann has established herself as a top performer for the Toreros this season. She leads the team in points (82), rebounds (44) and steals (12). Brossmann is currently averaging 11.7 points per game with a 55.6 field-goal percentage which ranks first in the WCC and 52nd nationally (250 ranked). 
 
• Myah Pace leads the team in assists (33), averaging 4.7 per game which ranks fourth in the conference. Pace is second in steals (11) and also second on the team with 35 rebounds, averaging five per game.
 
• Sydney Shepard leads the Toreros from beyond the arc with a 38.2 three-point field-goal percentage, hitting 13-of-34. Shepard is second on the team with 29 assists this season, averaging 4.1 per game to rank seventh in the conference.

HOME SWEET HOME
• The Toreros are currently 4-1 on their home court inside the Jenny Craig Pavilion—their only loss coming against No. 18 Cal.
 
TIGHTLY CONTESTED
• USD has won three of its last four games by two points or less. The Toreros have come up clutch, knocking down the winning shot with less than five seconds to play against both SDSU and Dartmouth.
