SAN DIEGO—San Diego will hit the road for a weekend series with Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount.
The Toreros (8-12, 1-8 WCC) will face the Waves (11-8, 5-4 WCC) on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT and take on the Lions (11-10, 4-5 WCC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT.

LAST TIME OUT
• San Diego gave the WCC's top-ranked BYU all it could handle, but ultimately fell to the Cougars, 65-56, on Saturday afternoon in the JCP.
•In a game that saw four ties and eight lead changes, the Toreros held their own, limiting the Cougars to 36 percent from the field and 6-of-26 from three-point range.

Madison Pollock recorded her second double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Sydney Shepard tied Pollock with a team-high 12 points, including 4-of-11 from three-point range.

Patricia Brossmann and
Leticia Soares added eight points apiece and
Sydney Hunter chipped in seven points and two steals.
• The Toreros kept it close down to the wire, pulling within one point (55-54) with 2:36 remaining in the contest. But BYU hit a pair of threes and went 4-of-6 from the line in the last two minutes to secure the win.
•The Cougars outscored the Toreros in the paint 30-16 and dominated second chance points 20-5. The Toreros finished the day 40 percent from the field and 5-of-13 from three-point range.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PEPPERDINE
• The Waves lead the all-time series with the Toreros, 43-34. Earlier this season, USD dropped a 74-55 contest to Pepperdine at home in the JCP.
• San Diego had three players reach double-digit scoring.
Patricia Brossmann recorded a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Madison Pollock added 12 points and seven rebounds and
Sydney Hunter chipped in 10 points for the Toreros.
Sydney Shepard finished the day with seven points and a team-high five assists.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
• The Toreros lead the all-time series with the Lions, 46-30. In their first matchup of the season, LMU came out on top in a 69-52 victory over USD.

Madison Pollock paced San Diego with 20 points and seven rebounds and
Sydney Hunter added 12 points and three steals.
Patricia Brossmann and
Myah Pace finished with six points apiece and Brossmann added five rebounds, while Pace led the team with four assists.
NOTEABLE ABSENCES
• San Diego suffered multiple injuries at the midpoint this season and is currently without starting guard
Myah Pace, as well as
Ana Ramos and Karla Martínez.
LEADING THE WAY

Patricia Brossmann has established herself as a top performer for the Toreros this season. She leads the team in points (11.9 avg), rebounds (7.5 avg), steals (1.5 avg) and has a team-high seven double-doubles this season which ranks second in the WCC. Brossmann currently ranks fifth in the WCC in rebounding and third is offensive rebounds (3.0 avg). She also ranks fifth in field-goal percentage (51.8).

Madison Pollock is second on the team in rebounds, averaging 5.9 per game to rank 15th in the conference. Pollock also ranks second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.9 points per game.

Sydney Shepard leads the Toreros from beyond the arc with a 32.5 three-point field-goal percentage, averaging 2.0 per game to tie for fifth in the WCC. Shepard also leads the team in assists, averaging 3.7 per game to rank 11th in the conference.
