Toreros Set for NCAA Regionals

Seven runners will race on both sides for USD

SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's and women's cross country will send seven runners on each side to compete at the NCAA West Regional meet on Friday.

Racing is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. (PT) with the women's 6K, followed by the men's 10K at 12:30 p.m. (PT). Washington State plays host to the regional meet this year at the Colfax Golf Club in Colfax, Wash. This marks San Diego's first trip to Colfax in program history.

"We will be in uncharted territory on Friday racing in Colfax," said head coach Will Guarino. "Weather preparation is going to be key as we could face rain, mud, and perhaps some wind or frost. Our team is hungry to get back to racing."
