SAN DIEGO San Diego will open its four-game stint in the Boca Raton Beach Classic with a school-site contest against Hofstra on Wednesday at 7 p.m. inside the Jenny Craig Pavilion. The game is one of four in the tournament for the Toreros.

The Toreros enter the week on a three-game losing streak, with a pair of losses to ranked teams on the road as well as a home defeat to currently-undefeated San Diego State.

Wednesday's game can be seen on the WCC Network, with the Voice of the Toreros Jack Cronin on the call.

LAST TIME OUT: TOREROS FALL VICTIM TO HOT-SHOOTING #25 WASHINGTON
- Washington shot 57% from the field and outscored San Diego by 18 points in the paint as the Toreros lost their third game in a row, 88-69, at #25 Washington on Sunday at the Alaska Airlines Arena. USD dropped its second game in as many tries against a top-25 team on the road this season after the Huskies sank 33 field goals on their 57 attempts and scored 46 points – to San Diego's 28 – in the paint. The Toreros led on four occasions in the first half, including by two with under six minutes left, but the high-efficiency shooting by Washington proved to be too much. Unable to slow down Washington on the defensive side of the court, the Toreros still managed to turn in their second-best shooting effort of the season. The USD offense made 26 of its 58 shots to finish 44.8% from the field. Marion Humphrey was the leading producer of offense for the Toreros as he scored 13 points on 4-of-6 from the field and 2-of-3 beyond the arc.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST HOFSTRA
- Wednesday will be the second all-time meeting between San Diego and Hofstra, with the Toreros holding the series advantage at 1-0.

- Over his last four games, Floresca is averaging 8.8 points. In the first three games, he had 6.0 points.

HUMPHREY'S SCORING
- Redshirt freshman Marion Humphrey turned in his third double-digit scoring game of the season on Sunday at #25 Washington, leading the Toreros with 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting.

LOOKING TO STOP THE STREAK
- The Toreros are looking to avoid their first four-game losing streak since 2016-17 when they lost five straight.

- The last three opponents for USD all rank in the top-70 teams in the KenPom rankings (as of Nov. 25): Colorado (28), SDSU (67) and Washington (52). Hofstra is 120 while San Diego is 180.

TOUGH COMPETITION TO START
