SAN DIEGO – San Diego concludes a three-game road stretch when it travels to Pepperdine on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

The Toreros (16-8, 5-4 WCC) have won three of their past four games and are coming off a 65-63 victory at Loyola Marymount on Thursday. The Waves (11-13, 4-6) are 2-2 in their last four games but have dropped each of their past two contests at Pacific and against Santa Clara.

Isaiah Wright made three consecutive layups in the final 2:05 to lead San Diego to a 65-63 comeback victory at Loyola Marymount on Thursday night.

• With the Toreros trailing by three with less than 2:30 to play, Wright went straight to the hoop three possessions in a row and converted layup on each trip. He converted his third layup with 37 seconds remaining gave the Toreros (16-8, 5-4 WCC) a one-point lead, 64-63.

Yauhen Massalski converted a free throw with 14 seconds remaining to give USD a two-point edge. A last-second 3-point attempt by the Lions (16-8, 4-6 WCC) James Batemon bounced off the backboard, off the front end of the rim and out.Â

Olin Carter III returned to USD's lineup for the first time since Jan. 12 after missing the past five games due to an abdominal injury and led the Toreros with 15 points. He got going early, hitting each of his first three shots, including two from behind the arc.

• Wright finished the night with 14 points and dished out a game-high seven assists.

Isaiah Pineiro registered his ninth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He did most of his damage from the free throw line, converting 7-of-9 attempts.

Isaiah Wright returned to the lineup against Portland (Jan. 17) after missing four games due to a wrist injury sustained during the Toreros game against Drake (Dec. 23). Wright was excellent in his return, recording 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

• Wright started the season well but began gaining steam right before his injury. During a nine-game stretch from Nov.24-Dec. 23, he was shooting 46 percent from the field, 35 percent from 3-point range, and averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals.

• Wright is contributing 13.3 points, 4.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game on the season.

• Through the first six games of the season,
Alex Floresca was one of the Toreros most efficient players. He was averaging 6.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game. He shot 71 percent (15-of-21) from the field and was 3-of-5 (60 percent) from behind the arc.

• His minutes significantly increased with the injury to Massalski. On the season, Floresca is averaging 5.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in 19.3 minutes.
