- The Toreros have won six straight at Portland. They are 25-15 all-time on the road in the series.

LOOKING AHEAD
- The Toreros will have their first bye of the season next Thursday before hosting Santa Clara on Saturday, January 25 at the Jenny Craig Pavilion (3 p.m.).

21 BY BRAUN
- Braun Hartfield turned in his first 20-point game of his WCC career on Thursday at BYU. The redshirt junior scored 21 on 6-of-14 shooting (42.8%), including 5-of-8 from three. He started the game 4-of-4 from long distance.

- Hartfield has three 20-point games this season, including two in the last six games. He trails Joey Calcaterra (4) for the most 20-point efforts by a Torero this year.

- In the last six games, Hartfield is averaging 15.5 points on 43.1% shooting (31-of-72). From three-point distance, though, he is 18-of-36 (50%). He is also averaging 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal.

- Since scoring a season-high 25 against Hofstra in late November - his first 20-point game of the year - Hartfield has double-digit points in 12 of the last 13 contests.

TEAM LEADER
- Thanks to his 15.5 points per game in the last six, Braun Hartfield is the team's leading scorer this season (13.5) and leading rebounder (6.5). He enters the weekend 13th in the WCC in scoring and 10th in rebounding.

- In conference-only games, Hartfield is 10th in the league in scoring (14.6). He is also second in three-pointers made per game (2.6) and 10th in three-point shooting percentage (43.3%).

FINN HEATING UP

- In the last three games, Sullivan is averaging 14.3 points on 56% shooting (14-of-25). He also has 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal.

- After going two games without a three-pointer made, Sullivan is 6-of-13 (46.2%) from long range in the last three.

- Before Sullivan's recent three-game stretch in which he is averaging 14.3 points per contest, Sullivan had gone scoreless in the previous three games against DI opponents. He had 13 against Whittier during the middle of the nearly month-long span.

BIG NIGHT VS. THE WAVES
- Coming off the bench, sophomore Finn Sullivan had a career-best game against Pepperdine last Saturday. The guard scored a personal-best 25 points and tallied five assists, three rebounds and a steal in 27 minutes.

- The new career-high in points bested his previous high of 17 set against BYU in the quarterfinals of the 2019 WCC Tournament.

- Sullivan became only the second Torero in the last 10 years to have 25+ points and 5+ assists in a single-game. He joined Isaiah Pineiro, who did it twice last season and once during the 2017-18 season.

- Sullivan was 10-of-13 from the field against the Waves, which was his best career shooting night when taking five or more shots. The field goals made were also a career-high.

OFFENSIVE OUTBURST
- After only scoring more than 60 once in the first three WCC games, the Toreros have scored 70+ in the last two. It is the first time they have back-to-back games with 70+ points since earlier this season on November 12 and 14 vs. Fresno State and at Weber State.

- The last time USD scored 70+ in three consecutive games was January 5-17, 2019. In the last game of that stretch, the Toreros scored 76 against Portland in a 76-55 win at the Chiles Center.

- The Toreros have turned in seven games this season with 70+ points (3-4 record).

AT THE POINT
- Marion Humphrey has a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio in the last six games, turning in 21 assists against nine turnovers.

- Humphrey had three assists and no turnovers against Pepperdine last Saturday. It was the fifth time in the last seven games in which he had three or more assists and second time in those five instances which he had no turnovers.

- Humphrey enters the week T-11th in the WCC in assists in conference-only games (2.8).

- Humphrey had seven assists and no turnovers against Whittier on December 29, making it only the fourth time in the last 10 seasons a Torero had seven-plus assists and no turnovers (source: Sports Reference). It was the first time since Isaiah Wright had eight assists and no turnovers against Weber State in last year's season opener on November 6, 2018.

TEAM ASSISTS
- With the help of Marion Humphrey and his team-leading 47 assists, the Toreros are 68th in the country and sixth in the WCC in total assists (263). Three Toreros have 40+ assists this year: Humphrey (47), Joey Calcaterra (46) and Braun Hartfield (40).

TEAM REBOUNDS
- The Toreros, who are 77th in the country and fourth in the WCC in total rebounds, have won the rebounding battle in the last two games and seven times in the last 11 contests. USD is 5-4 this season when it outrebounds its opponent.

START TO THE WCC SEASON
- The Toreros are 0-5 to start their conference schedule for the first time since 2010-11. They have not started a WCC season 0-6 since 2003-04.
