Freshman
Marvin Schaber, originally from Germany, saw plenty of time in the starting lineup for the Toreros in 2019-20, picking up four wins in seven completed matches during the dual season and going 2-0 in West Coast Conference matches. It was back in the fall, though, when he made his presence known when he captured the State Bracket Championship at the 2019 Aztec Fall Invitational. It was only the freshman's second collegiate tournament.
Â
Coming off some success on the court in his first year, here is more about Schaber, from seals to Coach Keckley to what he enjoys most about USD.
