SAN DIEGO — San Diego women's soccer (5-7, 0-3 WCC) is set to return home this Friday, continuing West Coast Conference play as it takes on Loyola Marymount (0-13, 0-3 WCC) at Torero Stadium in a 5 p.m. matchup.

ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS LMU
The Toreros are 24-2-1 against the Lions all-time and have won each of their last four matchups with LMU, with the two programs' most recent meeting coming in February of 2021 as part of the 2020 (Spring 2021) campaign, a 2-0 USD win in Los Angeles.
San Diego is 12-1-0 at home versus LMU all-time, with the Lions' last visit to Torero Stadium coming in October of 2019, a 3-2 USD win.
The Toreros last lost to LMU in October 2015 at Torero Stadium by a 1-0 margin, but previous to that had won 14 games in a row opposite the Lions, including seven home decisions.
ON FRIDAY THEY WEAR PINK
Friday's game marks the Toreros' Pink Game for 2021, a uniform change that will see them wear pink uniforms to raise awareness for breast cancer research and support. The Toreros encourage fans to join them in wearing pink as they honor the cause and try to raise awareness.
LAST TIME OUT
USD dropped a tough 6-0 loss to No. 20 BYU in what marked the Toreros' second consecutive game against a nationally ranked opponent (No. 6 Pepperdine on October 6).
Alyssa Mahrt led the way for the Toreros with two shots, with one coming on goal.
Bella Piete and
Ariana Scholten each had shots of their own on goal.
Madison Louderback and
Delaney Jannone rounded out the Toreros' scoring chances with one shot apiece.
FOSTER LEADING THE WAY
Redshirt junior
Michaela Foster has been the Toreros' most dynamic scorer so far in 2021, leading the team with three goals on 12 shots (six on goal) for a total of six points.
The Hamilton, New Zealand native most recently scored on September 25 against Denver, helping USD to a 2-1 victory over the Pioneers at Torero Stadium.
She has yet to come off the field this season, recording 1090 minutes played in 12 matches.
FOUR HAVE FOUR
Behind Foster with six, four Toreros are tied for second place on the roster with four total points so far this season.
Delaney Jannone,
Aryssa Mahrt,
Maronne Suzuki, and
Bekah Valdez make up the list, doing so with a total of six goals and four assists.
Jannone and Valdez have two goals apiece and no assists, while Mahrt and Suzuki each have a single goal and a pair of assists.
