SAN DIEGO – Loyola Marymount (10-4-1, 2-2 WCC) scored the go-ahead goal in the 67
th minute and held off San Diego men's soccer (1-13, 0-4 WCC) on Wednesday night, 2-1.

Nicklas Clausen scored his seventh goal of the season with an equalizer in the first half.
Senior goalkeeper
Berk Watson made six saves in the loss.
USD falls to 1-13 (0-4 WCC) on the season, and will remain home to face San Francisco on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Watson kept the game scoreless with three early saves, including a fingertip stop that hit the crossbar.
- Loyola Marymount opened the scoring in the 19th minute, heading in a free kick to the far post.
- USD scored the equalizer in the 27th minute. Tunbridge caused a turnover, Hadjipanayiotou played a long ball down the right side, and Clausen finished to the low far post.
- LMU pulled back ahead in the 67th minute. The Lions one-touched a loose ball at the edge of the six after a cross.
- In the 74th minute, Ross Johnstone launched a shot from midfield that hit the crossbar. The Toreros jumped on the rebound, but it was blocked.
