SAN DIEGO — Winners of five straight contests, San Diego Football (5-4, 5-1 PFL) hosts Morehead State (5-3, 4-1 PFL) for the home finale Saturday. The Toreros and Eagles remain in the hunt in the Pioneer Football League (PFL), trailing only Davidson (5-0) in the standings.
San Diego earned a 21-14 win over Valpo last Saturday, outgaining the Beacons 417-56. Morehead State fell to league-leading Davidson, 29-22.

• USD holds a 13-0 advantage in the all-time series, including a 52-20 win in 2019 to clinch the PFL title.
