SAN DIEGO – The University of San Diego men's basketball team will face Northern Arizona on Saturday night as part of the Jerry Colangelo Classic. The game will be played at the Footprint Center, home of the NBA's Phoenix Suns and WNBA's Phoenix Mercury.

LAST TIME OUT
San Diego never trailed in a win over Cal Lutheran last Saturday night, defeating the Kingsmen, 84-55. Senior Marcellus Earlington compiled an impressive 23 points, a career-high 16 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the win. After starting his first game of the season, freshman Wayne McKinney III scored 17 points for the second consecutive game. Also earning his first career start, sophomore TJ Berger compiled a career-high 13 points and seven rebounds, including three triples.
 
SCOUTING THE LUMBERJACKS
Northern Arizona is led by sophomore guard Jalen Cone, who is averaging 17.4 points per game. Redshirt junior forward Nik Mains is also scoring in double figures with 11.7 points per contest. Redshirt freshman forward Carson Towt has started all 10 games and leads the Lumberjacks with 10.0 rebounds per game in addition to 8.2 points. Northern Arizona was picked to finish ninth in the Big Sky Preseason Coaches' Poll.
