Wayne McKinney III scored a career-high 17 points, making three of six attempts from long range. The Coronado grad added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the win. Senior
Marcellus Earlington added 14 points and three rebounds in the win.
SCOUTING THE KINGSMEN
Cal Lutheran is 7-1 with wins over North Central, Illinois Tech, North Park, Caltech, Colorado College, UC Santa Cruz, and Occidental. Freshman Mason Johnson leads the team with 20.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Senior guard Jacob Alonzo is adding 15.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Sophomore forward Tommy Griffitts is also averaging double figures at 10.6 points per contest.
