SAN DIEGO - In their first match of the season, San Diego (1-0)  steamrolled Cal State Fullerton (1-2) 7-0 inside the Hogan Center.

It began with  the doubles combination of Solymar Colling and Elizabeth Goldsmith, winning their double's match 6-1. Kati Kukaras and Maria Tyrina clinched the double's point for San Diego with a 6-2 victory. 

In singles play, Colling gave the Toreros their second point with a 6-0, 6-2 win while Goldsmith won her match 6-3, 6-2 to give San Diego a 3-0 lead overall. 

Freshman Jordyn McBride clinched the win with a 6-2, 6-2 victory and the Toreros won the remaining singles matches for the 7-0 win. 

San Diego will be back in action tomorrow as they take on No. 3 UCLA at 1:00 P.M. (PT)
