San Diego - San Diego women's tennis (2-2) got back in the win column on Monday with a win over Hawaii (1-2) by a final of 7-0 at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Center. 

The Toreros controlled the match from the start beginning with a 6-0 by Solymar Colling and Elizabeth Goldsmith in doubles on court one. San Diego clinched the double's point with a 6-1 win by Kati Kukaras and Jordyn McBride on court three. 

In singles play, Colling fell behind 0-3 in the first set but recovered for a 7-5 win before sweeping the second set 6-0 to extend the Toreros lead to 2-0. 

Goldsmith grew the lead to 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 win on court three and the Toreros clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court six by Kukaras. San Diego won the remaining singles matches to finish the 7-0 win.

The Toreros will be back on the courts this Friday, Feb. 26 as they battle against the UCSD Tritons at home. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. (PT).
