SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's soccer (0-1-0) will look to pick up their first win of the year on Sunday Feb. 28 as they travel to Stockon, Calif. to take on Pacifc (0-3-0) in the WCC opener for both schools. The match is slated to kick off at 11 a.m. (PT).Â
Scouting the Tigers
- All time, the Toreros are 3-3 versus the Tigers. Pacifc won the last matchup 4-2 on November 2, 2019.Â
- Pacific is coming off a 3-2 loss to San Francisco on Saturday Feb 20. In the match, the Tigers outshot the Dons 12-7 but were undone by poor defending at the back.  Â
Last Time Out
- San Diego was defeated 4-1 by California Baptist in their opening match on Feb. 16 The Toreros fell behind 3-0 in the first 24 minutes and the Lancers added a fourth in the 79th minute.Â
- Freshman midfielder Ross Johnstone scored the lone goal for San Diego with a beautiful left-footed strike in the 80th minute.Â
