San Diego, Calif - San Diego women's tennis (5-2) continued its tremendous play with a 7-0 win over SDSU (1-1) on Sunday afternoon. 

It was the Toreros fourth straight sweep of an opponent. 

The duo of Jordyn McBride and Abigail Desiatnikov got things going for San Diego with a 6-2 win in their doubles match and Solymar Colling and Elizabeth Goldsmith clinched the double's point with a 6-4 win on their court. 

The lead was pushed to 2-0 by Colling who won 6-3, 6-1 in court 1 in singles play. Jessi Muljat extended the Toreros lead to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court 6. 

Goldsmith clinched the match for San Diego with a 6-2, 6-4 win on court 2. McBride, Desiatnikov and Kati Kukaras won their remaining singles matches. 

The Toreros will be back in action on Saturday, March 13 as they open WCC play at home against Gonzaga. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. (PT)
