SAN DIEGO - San Diego women's tennis (10-3, 4-0 WCC) won its fifth in a row with a 6-1 victory over BYU (14-7, 3-2 WCC) on Saturday at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.  

The Toreros have won nine of their last ten and now find themselves atop the WCC standings.

Solymar Colling and Kati Kukaras got things going early for the Toreros with a 6-3 win on court one in doubles. Abigail Desiatnikov and Jordyn McBride clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win on court two, the pairings' fourth consecutive doubles win. 

In singles, Colling made quick work of her opponent with a 6-3, 6-2 win which pushed the Toreros lead to 2-0. McBride made it 3-0 with a 7-5, 6-0 win on court two, her fifth straight singles win, putting her overall record this year at 11-2. 
  
The match was clinched by Victoria Kalaitzis, who won 6-0, 6-4 on court four. Desiatnikov made it 5-0 with a 7-5, 6-3 win on court four, her fourth straight singles win. 

The Toreros will head out on the road for their match as they travel up to San Francisco on Friday, April 16, to take on USF at noon (PT).
