SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - San Diego women's tennis (11-3, 5-0 WCC) continued its spectacular play, winning its sixth match in a row with a 4-0 sweep of San Francisco (10-6, 3-3 WCC) on the road on Friday morning. 

The Toreros have now won 10 of their last 11 and continue to remain atop the WCC standings. 

San Diego got off to a fast start with Abigail Desiatnikov and Jordyn McBride sweeping their opponent 6-0 in doubles, their fifth consecutive doubles win. The doubles point was clinched by Solymar Colling and Elizabeth Goldsmith, who won 6-2 on court one. 

In singles, Colling picked up her 11th win of the year and pushed the Toreros lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-0 win on court one, and the lead was quickly extended to 3-0 by Goldsmith who won 6-4, 6-2 on court two. 

The match was clinched by Victoria Kalaitzis who defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-2 on court five. It was the second time this season that Kalaitzis clinched a match for the Toreros. The remaining singles matches were not played out. 

San Diego will be back on the court on Saturday, April 17 as they take on Santa Clara on the road.
