SAN DIEGO – No. 25 San Diego will play host to Davidson on Saturday at 12 p.m. (PT) at Walter J. Zable Field at Torero Stadium in the Brian Fogarty PFL Classic.

The Toreros (3-0, 2-0 PFL) will face off with the Wildcats (3-1, 2-0 PFL) as the two top teams in the PFL. USD tied the FCS record for consecutive conference wins earlier this season (39 games, Duquesne, 1999-06) and will look to stand alone with a win on Saturday.

A free live stream will be available with Jack Cronin on the call and live statistics will be available via USDToreros.com.

BRIAN FOGARTY PFL CLASSIC
• Saturday's game will be the fourth annual Brian Fogarty PFL Classic, honoring USD's former head football coach and development member who spent over 34 years with the Toreros.

•  Fogarty became USD's ninth head coach in 1983 and stayed in that role for 13 seasons. Following the 1995 season he stepped away as the program's all-time winningest coach with 71 career victories before moving into athletics development.

•  Fogarty strung together eight straight winning seasons between 1986 and 1994, and during a four-year run beginning in 1989 compiled a 28-9 record. In 1993 he guided the Toreros into the Pioneer Football League – the nation's only non-scholarship, football-only NCAA Football Championship Subdivision conference.

• Along with over 21 years of service in athletics development, Fogarty served the university and athletic department with distinction. He made a positive impact on thousands of USD student-athletes, staff members, alumni and friends.

•  Michael Carner collected nine passes for 107 yards and one touchdown, while Derek Kline added four catches for 58 yards and one touchdown.

•  Emilio Martinez led the way on the ground with 22 carries for 82 yards and added six catches for 47 yards to finish with 129 yards.

•  Kama Kamaka led the defense with eight tackles (six solo), including one tackle for a loss of two yards. Kyle Bilchik also finished with eight takles (four solo) and Amir Wallace added six tackles (three solo) and a forced fumble returned for a 23 yard touchdown.

•  Chris Reese also had a key interception to set up a score right before the halftime break, adding a half sack and a hurry to earn PFL Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
