SAN DIEGO - Jordyn McBride and Abigail Desiatnikov continued their singles match winning streaks as San Diego women's tennis (9-3, 3-0 WCC) swept Portland (1-9, 0-3 WCC) 7-0 at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center on Saturday. 

San Diego got things going early with Desiatnikov and McBride winning 6-2 in their doubles match on court three. Kati Kukaras and Victoria Kalaitzis clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win on court two. 

In singles play, McBride swept her opponent 6-0, 6-0 on court two for her fourth straight victory to push the lead to 2-0. McBride's win was quickly followed by Kalaitzis' 6-2, 6-0 win on court four, which put San Diego up 3-0. 

The match was clinched by Desiatnikov who won her third straight with a 6-2, 6-0 victory on court three. The Toreros won the remaining singles matches which put the final score at 7-0.

San Diego will be back on the court on Saturday, April 10 for a home match against BYU at 11:00 a.m. (PT).
