SAN DIEGO — San Diego men's soccer (1-5-0, 0-0-0 WCC) concludes its second homestand of the 2021 season with a midweek matchup against UC Irvine (1-4-1, 0-0-0 Big West) this Wednesday, taking on the Anteaters at 7 p.m. at Torero Stadium.

USD is 18-6-3 against the Anteaters all-time, with the two programs' most recent meeting coming in September 2019 at Anteater Stadium, a 1-0 Torero win in overtime.

Nicklas Clausen has been the Toreros' most dynamic player on offense thus far in 2021, with 14 shots, eight shots on goal, and three goals to his credit through USD's six total games. The Denmark native scored twice in the Toreros' 2-0 win over CSU Bakersfield last Friday at home, finding the back of the net in the 13th and 77th minutes.
