BOZEMAN, MT — San Diego football (0-2, 0-0 PFL) is set to embark on its first road trip of the season this weekend, traveling to Bozeman, Montana to take on Montana State (1-1, 0-0 Big Sky) on Saturday.
Kickoff at Bobcat Stadium is set for 12 p.m. PST. Longtime Torero broadcaster Jack Cronin will have the radio call on USDToreros.com, and a live video stream of the game and live statistics will be available on MSUBobcats.com.
The matchup marks the last of three consecutive games against Big Sky opponents on the Toreros' 2021 schedule, and USD's final contest before Pioneer Football League (PFL) play begins on September 25.
ALL-TIME RECORD VERSUS MONTANA STATE
• Saturday's game marks the first-ever meeting between the Toreros and the Bobcats.
LAST TIME OUT
• USD dropped a 53-7 decision to No. 14/12 UC Davis last Saturday at Torero Stadium last time out.
• The Aggies jumped out to an 8-0 lead midway through the first quarter, then doubled their lead four minutes later. By halftime UC Davis was up 22-0, then added 31 more points in the second half to prevail by a 53-7 margin.

Mason Randall was 12-25 for 122 yards and an interception, and backup
Judd Erickson was 4-10 passing for 92 total yards after entering the game with 9:42 left in the fourth quarter.
HAWKINS HEADLINES USD DEFENSE
• Senior cornerback
Michael Hawkins (Morse High School) led the way for the USD defense against UC Davis with 12 total tackles, including a tackle for a loss.
