SAN DIEGO — The Toreros fell short to Weber State 3-1 at the USD Softball Complex. Malia Benson led the team's offensive efforts batting 2-3 at the plate.

• Courtney Rose started in the circle for the Toreros. 
• Joecellia Roberts doubled to right center in the bottom of the first. 
• In the bottom of the third, Clareese Santiago singled through the left side. The game remains scoreless, 0-0.
• Amanda Limon tripled to left center in the bottom of the sixth. San Diego trails 3-0.
• In the bottom of the sixth, Amanda Limon scores off of Malia Benson's bunt! The score is 3-1.

• Courtney Rose struck out seven batters against Weber State in seven innings pitched. Rose leads the Toreros in strikeouts with 66 total in the 2022 season.
• Malia Benson led the Toreros at the plate batting 2-3.

• Amanda Limon hit her first triple of the season. Limon is one of four Toreros who hit triples this season. Sofia Delgado leads the team in triples with two this season followed by Alexia Torculas and Ashley Daugherty with one each.
