RIVERSIDE, CA—The Toreros will travel to CBU Events Center to battle the Cal Baptist Lancers on Thursday, March 17 at the CBU Events Center at 6 p.m PT.

The Toreros are 16-14 ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Lancers who are 23-8. This is the first time the teams will compete in program history. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3 and live stats will be available.

THE BREAKDOWN
Last time out, the Toreros fought hard against the Santa Clara Broncos but fell short 86-79 in the first round of the WCC Tournament. Sydney Hunter led the Toreros with 20 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Overall, the Toreros shot 72.1% from the free throw line, 40.4% from the field, and 14.3% from the three-point line. On defense, San Diego collected 36 rebounds and 15 steals. Erica Martinsen led the team with five steals followed by Steph Gorman with four.

LAST TIME OUT AT WNIT
In their most recent appearance in the 2015-2016 season, the Toreros fought hard against Michigan but fell short 78-51 in the sweet 16.
