LAS VEGAS — The Toreros rallied with two home runs and a triple but could not close the gap against UNLV, 7-4.

• Izzy Owen made a diving catch and tagged second base for a double play to end the first.

• Joecellia Roberts hit a homerun to left center in the top of the fourth, San Diego trails 2-1. 
• The Toreros added three runs in the top of the fifth. 
  • Alexia Torculas hit a two-run homerun and sent Amanda Limon home.
  • Izzy Owen tripled to center field and scored off Arisa Tovar's hit.
