SAN DIEGO — The Toreros defeated Cal in an eight inning thriller with a final score of 5-4. Ashley Daugherty stole home off a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth to score the winning run!

• Courtney Rose started in the circle for the Toreros. 
• Rose recorded her first strikeout against Cal for the third out in the top of the first. 
• Alexia Torculas singled through the right side to kick off the Toreros' offense in the bottom of the first. 
• Alexia Torculas sprints home off JoJo Robert's dropped fly to center field. San Diego leads 1-0 in the bottom of the first. 
• In the bottom of the first, Amanda Limon earned one RBI with a single to shortstop. Izzy Owen scores, San Diego leads 2-0.
