STOCKTON, CA – The University of San Diego softball team won its fourth straight WCC game on Saturday, defeating Pacific, 3-2.

An RBI single from
Noelle Hee and a two-run home run from
AJ Kaiser proved to be the difference. Sophomore pitcher
McKenna Braegelmann allowed just two runs in five innings, and
Courtney Rose earned her fourth save of the season with two scoreless frames.

The Toreros improve to 19-25 (4-1 WCC) on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- San Diego started the scoring in the top of the third. Alexia Torculas reached on a fielding error, and advanced to third on a groundout. Hee brought her home with an RBI single, putting USD up 1-0.
- JoJo Roberts started the top of the fourth with a double to left. Kaiser then lifted a two-run home run to right center to extend San Diego's lead to 3-0.
- Through five innings, Braegelmann allowed no runs and just one hit.
- Pacific battled back in the bottom of the sixth, beginning with a leadoff triple. The next batter homered to left to cut the Tigers deficit to 3-2.
- Rose retired the next three batters, and shut down Pacific in the bottom of the seventh for the win.Â

- Braegelmann improves to 3-1 on the season with a 3.27 ERA.
- Rose has not allowed a run in her last nine innings.
- Kaiser hit her first home run of the season, and third of her career.
- Hee leads the team with 23 RBI.
