LOS ANGELES, CA – In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the No. 17 University of San Diego men's tennis team defeated #68 UC Irvine, 4-0.
 
USD captured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 (Will Davies/Sacchitt Sharrma) and No. 3 (David Norfeldt/Marvin Schaber).
 
In singles play, the Toreros won at No. 3 (Sharrma), No. 4 (Norfeldt), and No. 6 (Schaber).
 
San Diego improves its record to 23-3 on the season, and advances to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in the last 11 years.
