DAVIS, CA — After a last-second, one-point loss at Cal Poly last weekend, San Diego Football (1-1, 0-0 PFL) travels to UC Davis for its final non-conference matchup of 2022. The Toreros will play an additional road game at Valparaiso before returning home on October 1 to face Stetson.

LAST TIME OUT

• Outscoring the Toreros 14-3 in the fourth quarter, Cal Poly escaped the University of San Diego football team, 28-27.

• San Diego jumped out to a 17-0 lead, including two trick-play touchdown passes from Re-al Mitchell. Cal Poly scored touchdowns at the end of the first half and on the first possession of the second half to quickly get back into it.

• USD later took a 27-14 lead with just over 12 minutes remaining in the fourth, and the Mustangs once again answered with two touchdowns.

ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS UC DAVIS

• The Aggies hold an 8-1 lead in the all-time series, including six straight wins. Last season, #12 UC Davis earned a 53-7 win at Torero Stadium.
