SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's soccer program (2-5-2, 0-0 WCC) returns home to Torero Stadium for the first time in just under a month, to play host to Northern Arizona (1-4-3, 0-0 Big Sky) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Toreros battled closely with Cal Poly, but ultimately allowed an 84th minute goal to drop a tight, 1-0 decision in San Luis Obispo on Thursday night. The loss concluded a five-game road swing, which is the longest of the season.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- San Diego holds a 2-0-0 all-time record against the Lumberjacks, with the last meeting coming in 2005. The Toreros have never allowed a goal to Northern Arizona, winning two separate 3-0 decisions.
- The Toreros are also 6-2 all-time against current members of the Big Sky Conference.
- Northern Arizona has a pair of common opponents on their schedule, as they fell to Cal State Bakersfield earlier this year. The Lumberjacks also tied WCC opponent Loyola Marymount, 0-0, on Friday.
- The Toreros have spent the past month on the road, but return back to the confines of Torero Stadium, where they are 1-1 this season and went 6-5-1 last season.
- 11 of the 22 points (50%) tallied by the Toreros this season have come from a freshman.
- Thursday's game is the final non-conference game of the season, with the next contest at Pepperdine set to open the nine-game WCC slate.

- Freshman Sophine Kevorkian currently leads the West Coast Conference in saves per game (4.33), while ranking third in total saves (39) and fourth in goalie minutes played (752:33).
- Freshman Cameryn Maddox currently ranks in a tie for sixth in points among freshman in the WCC with six.
- Dating back to her time at Maryland, graduate student Adalee Broadbent has played in 1,371 consecutive minutes, including every minute of this season.
- The Toreros are set to wear gold laces on their cleats to "Lace Up 4 Pedeatric Cancer", as they support Californians across the state affected by pediatric cancer.
