MALIBU, Calif. — San Diego swimming and diving placed second out of three teams at the WCC Cup on Saturday afternoon, scoring 368.5 total points after two days of competition at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool to finish ahead of Loyola Marymount (106.5) and behind host Pepperdine (408).
The Toreros' effort was led by two individual wins apiece by freshman
Anna Vermeulen and
Analeis Vos, joined by sophomore
Abby Muaddi and junior
Mia Shaeffer, who notched one first-place finish apiece. Freshman
Morgan Divita headlined USD's diving segment with a win of her own. Collectively, San Diego won two relay races, the 800 and 200 Yard Freestyle.
