ORANGE — Competing in the team's final meet of 2025, the San Diego women's swimming and diving team put together an excellent showing Saturday afternoon at the Allred Aquatics Center as they earned 14 first place finishes as a squad.
The Toreros were competing against both Chapman and Fresno Pacific on a sunny Southern California day as the team looks forward to a few weeks away from competition after their fantastic collective performance.
Leading the way for USD on Saturday was stellar racing from Skylar Bruner who earned a pair of first place finishes while racing in both the 1,000 freestyle and 200 backstroke.
Not to be out done, Sydney Wilson also turned in a pair of strong times and first place finishes while competing in the 500 freestyle and the 200 individual medley.
On the diving side, San Diego's trio excelled in both the one and three meter dive as Morgan Divita put together the best combined score in both the one and three meter dive.
