SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's tennis program rolled to another strong showing this past weekend, completing play at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic at the Hogan Tennis Center.
The Toreros took six of nine matches over the weekend, winning two of three against Denver, Navy and LMU.
The trio of
Filippa Bruu-Syversen, Elizabeth Goldsmith and
Jordyn McBride each went 3-1 in their matches, with Bruu-Syversen recording a perfect day on Friday, McBride going undefeated on Saturday and Goldsmith going undefeated on Sunday.
The Toreros will stick around in San Diego, competing in the ITA Southwest Regionals that are split between the Hogan Tennis Center and at San Diego State. Play will begin on Oct 19 and run until Oct. 24.
